May is Mental Health Awareness Month💚
and Self-care is taking center stage in guidance this
week for our fourth and fifth graders! 🌟
In a lively activity dubbed 'Ask, Ask, Switch-Up!'
students engaged in discussions about stress
management and self-care techniques. They asked
each other thoughtful questions and then mixed it up
by finding a new partner with a different question.
It's all about learning and sharing ways to take good
care of themselves! #WegaFremont

Our second graders are BUZZING with excitement while they learn how to program Bee-Bots during Library Skills time! 🐝
#WegaFremont

Striking up some fun! 🎳
The #WegaFremont Kindergarten team rolled out a lesson in force and motion with a bowling trip in Manawa.
It's how we roll when turning science into action! 🌟😉

#WegaFremont brought two middle school and two high school teams to compete in UW Oshkosh's 6th annual Math Competition! 🙌
After the competition, the students had the opportunity to play various math and Minute-to-Win It games, as well as explore the Geology lab, UWO's Greenhouse, and the Sound Lab.
Everyone had a fantastic time! ♥️

We were honored to recently host "Goodies with Grown Ups," where special adults were invited to enjoy muffins and donuts with their children before school started. 🍩
We had a fantastic turnout and loved seeing so many smiling faces! 😃

Last week, Mrs. Kettleson's second graders teamed up with Mrs. Pope's fifth graders for an exciting coding adventure! 💻
It was a blast seeing our young programmers collaborate and create together.
What an incredible way to learn and have fun! 😃 #WegaFremont

Our first graders have been having a blast as they dove into math with a hands-on activity: counting and bundling craft sticks!
It’s amazing to see how much fun learning can be when it’s interactive and engaging. 🌟 #WegaFremont

We want to give a special thanks to Fremont-Wolf River EMS, Fremont-Wolf River Fire & Rescue, and the Waupaca County Highway Department for visiting Fremont Elementary and the STEM Academy! 👏
Their engaging presentations provided valuable insight into their respective roles and showcased the vehicles and equipment they utilize.
The students were thrilled to learn about and explore their vehicles, including a fire truck, ambulance, and snowplow, and they asked insightful questions throughout the sessions. 🚒 🚑
