During the month of November, Sources of Strength held a pop tab collection competition between the middle school and high school!
These pop tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities where they will recycle the metal in exchange for funds that will help support families staying at the Ronald McDonald House!
There was a total of 17.2 pounds of pop tabs turned in with the middle school winning the competition! 🌟
Thank you to all who donated, supported, and participated in the collection!
Start saving for next year's competition #WegaFremont!

Mrs. Billington's third graders teamed up with Ms. Zank's Fabric Arts class and had a MONSTER of a collaboration! 🪡
Earlier this year, the third grade students designed some super cool monsters that were then given to the high school Fabric Arts students. The high school students used their sewing skills and tried their best to make the monster designs come to life!
It was such a neat way to showcase all of the creativity and imagination from both the elementary and high school students! #WegaFremont

To finish Girls on the Run, our team must complete a community impact project. ♥️
The girls chose to make Get Better Soon cards last week for the owner of JD's Cafe and bookmarks for our local libraries!
They also had their celebration 5K at Fox Valley Technical School in Appleton.
Way to go girls! 👏 #WegaFremont

Ms. Peuse and Ms. Steeves hosted a fantastic New Book Open House for our middle and high school staff! 📚
This fall, they’ve added over 400 new books to our collection, and this event was the perfect opportunity to explore these exciting new titles.
Teachers enjoyed browsing the books, connecting with colleagues, and, of course, indulging in some delicious donuts and coffee! ☕️ 🍩
Thank you, Ms. Peuse and Ms. Steeves, for fostering a love of reading and building our school’s library! ♥️

¡Día de los Muertos! (Day of the Dead)
Mrs. Bolles and Mrs. Wetzel's buddies explored this Hispanic tradition by watching an informational video and creating their own Sugar Skulls. Sugar Skulls represent the spirits of deceased loved ones. The students had fun expanding their cultural knowledge about a tradition some of them had never heard of. #WegaFremont

Ms. Lehman and a few #WegaFremont students visited the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus for the CESA 6 Multilingual Multicultural Post Secondary Day! 🎓✨
A total of 17 districts from our CESA 6 region came together to explore college, career, and community readiness. It was a fantastic day filled with learning and opportunities for our Warhawks and all participating students!

Our third grade students took on a creative challenge by choosing their favorite book characters and bringing them to life with pumpkins! 🎃✨
They crafted amazing pumpkin creations and wrote reports describing their characters and what they love about them. Such a fun project, and the kids did a fantastic job! 📚👏

After learning about the sun and shadows, the first grade class took their learning outside to make and trace their partner’s shadow! ☀️ They had a “sun-sational” time! #WegaFremont

Recently, 14 of our FCCLA members were able to attend the FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference held at UW-Stevens Point.
During the conference, students were able to attend various breakout sessions related to building up their leadership skills, learning new fundraising and community service projects, as well as how to support their own mental and emotional health!
The students had a fun filled day and learned many new skills and ideas to bring back to our #WegaFremont Chapter.
Students also got to see our very own Lauren W. present during the conference as one of her many duties as a State FCCLA Officer. By the end of October, Lauren will have presented to over 400 students at 4 different Fall Leadership Conferences across the state!

Join us in saying congratulations to Bethany M for earning one of the top 4 in the nation as a FFA Proficiency Finalist in Dairy Production! 🌟
Bethany is now a part of a unique and celebrated Weyauwega-Fremont club. There have been less than 10 National Finalists in the last 30 years.
Thank you for the work and support from her advisors, Ms. Magdanz and Ms. Peterson. ♥️

Our first graders know how to “stick” to their measuring skills as they measure classroom objects and their friends! 📏✨ They're having a blast while learning about length in the most fun way!

Our elementary principal, Mr. Ryan, stepped in to help as the art teacher! 🎨
Let’s just say, the masterpieces created were… abstract. Move over Picasso, we now have a new king of doodles! 😉

Mrs. Highlander's 4K family is here to crack you up with all our CORNY jokes and silly stories! 🤣🌽🍂
Be sure to ask one of our little Warhawks for a laugh when you see them! #WegaFremont

It was an exciting day in the library with our first graders! 📚✨
They learned all about call letters and how books are organized, then had fun practicing alphabetical order by lining up by their first names!
Once they mastered that, it was time for book checkouts and diving into new reading adventures. So proud of our little learners! 📖

Thank you to NED's Mindset Mission for visiting our Fremont and Weyauwega Elementary students!
The kids had a great time enjoying humor, yo-yo tricks, magic, and the inspiring storytelling behind NED’s important mission.
Be sure to ask your student what NED stands for and what they learned from NED's mission! #WegaFremont

This week in third grade guidance, students shared in small groups about things that help with big feelings as well as bring them joy! ❤️
It was an opportunity to actively listen to their peers, learn more about them, and how to help their peers.
📢 Parents, interested in doing this activity at home? Your third grader will be bringing home a similar activity to do as a family!

#WegaFremont, remember that our Crush Cancer & Youth Night is coming up! 🏐
