Dear Weyauwega-Fremont School District Families,
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so that means 6 more weeks of winter and with the incoming snow storm and predicted cold weather next week, I believe him! That being said, please make sure that you have all your contact numbers updated for potential school closings. If we have a snow day, it will be a traditional snow day for all students. This includes students who are currently in the face to face model of instruction and all full time virtual students. If we have a school year like two years ago with numerous school cancellations, the district will then consider at home virtual learning to count the school day as a student contact day instead of a traditional snow day.
Below are the current numbers from DHS. Numbers are starting to trend in the right direction and hopefully with more individuals getting vaccinated, we will continue to see the numbers decrease. Currently, district numbers are looking exceptional as well. Therefore, we will stay in our current model of instruction. Please continue to make safe choices so we can continue to stay in our current face to face model.
