Please Dress for Winter Weather
With colder temperatures here, please make sure your child comes to school with proper winter clothing for outdoor recess. Staying warm helps students enjoy recess safely. This includes:
Winter coat
Hat
Gloves or mittens
Snow pants
Winter boots
Reminder- NO SCHOOL THURSDAY 1/22 & FRIDAY 1/23- TEACHER INSERVICE AND PROFESSIONAL RECORDS DAY!
Reminders:
School starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after this time will be marked absent or tardy.
Thank you for helping your child arrive on time!
Please contact the office by 9:00 AM for any appointments or absences, and by 2:30 PM for any transportation changes.
If your child has a fever over 100°F, is vomiting, or has diarrhea, they must stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours without medication. If they leave school early it is still 24 hour from time of last symptom. Let’s all do our part to keep everyone healthy and learning! If student has missed 3 or more days a Doctor's note is required to come back. Please make sure all contact information is up to date so that we can easily reach you.
Pre-Arranged Absence -forms should be filled out minimum of 3 days prior to the day that the student will be absence.
Lost and Found:
Our Lost and Found table is filling up! Please remind your child to check the table to see if any of their missing items are there.
We also encourage families to label all clothing and personal items so they can be returned quick.
Family Swim Night- Reminder- Our annual swim night is Friday January 30th at New London Aquatic Center from 5:30pm -7:30pm. Please return your families RSVP back to school by Tuesday 1/27 so that we can order food accordingly.
Save the Date- 4th Annual Fremont Elementary Spring Dance - Friday, April 24th at Fremont River Deck from 6-8pm. More details to follow- student council is in process of selecting this year's theme!
