Word of the Week
Each week our entire elementary school dives into a brand-new word—discovering its meaning, synonyms, antonyms, and all the exciting ways to use it! Teachers weave fun and meaningful activities into each day so students can practice and apply the word in real ways. We encourage you to explore the word at home with your child too—see who can use it in a sentence first, use the word in conversations, ask your child to explain it to you, or see who can spot it in a book or on TV first. Working together, we can make vocabulary growth both powerful and fun! Next Weeks word will be: tone
