Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) Courses

CAPP

Enrolling in the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) courses is a convenient and affordable way for high school students to earn concurrent high school and college credit while developing key skills for future success. If saving thousands of dollars on tuition isn’t incentive enough, UWO offers scholarships for students who are taking CAPP courses and intend to continue their education at UWO.

UWO adjunct, Adrienne Rice, offers three CAPP college English courses for WF students beginning junior year of high school (Writing 101, which is required for all college students, 211-Brit. Lit. I, and 212-Brit. Lit. II). If students take the CAPP route, they have the opportunity to earn nine college credits that transfer to two year and four year colleges through UWO transcripted credits.

In CAPP courses students experience the challenge of college curriculum while in a high school environment, which:

  • sets them apart from other college applicants.

  • gives them the opportunity to register for college courses earlier.

  • provides them a chance to double major and graduate on time.

  • lessens their course load while in college.

  • helps them graduate from college early.
