Act 20
The Weyauwega-Fremont School District is committed to supporting early literacy and ensuring all students become confident, capable readers. In alignment with the requirements of Act 20, the district is taking intentional steps to improve literacy outcomes and help more students reach grade-level reading proficiency by the end of third grade.
To achieve this, we are implementing targeted strategies and supports designed to build strong reading skills in our students. These include personalized reading improvement plans, ongoing progress monitoring, and research-based instructional practices tailored to individual student needs.
We recognize that literacy development is a partnership between schools and families. By working together with parents, caregivers, and the community, Weyauwega-Fremont School District is dedicated to promoting reading success for every student.
