March Senior Leader - Dani Austreng
Dani is a true leader. She is not afraid to take charge and lead others. She can be counted on by her peers and adults to communicate effectively and complete the tasks at hand. She is also a self-starter and can identify projects that need to be done and orchestrate the completion of these projects. She has a great attitude, smiles all the time and has fun while working hard, making it a joy to work with her.
In school Dani is the captain of the Volleyball and Track teams; member of the Student Council, FFA, and National Honor Society and site leader for 6th grade water testing.
Outside of school, she likes to play in volleyball leagues, scrapbook with her mom, read books, and hang with her family. She works for Subway and Happy Tails Pet Resort on her weekends.
Dani will be attending the University of Oshkosh in the fall. She plans on pursuing a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish and American Sign Language.

Stephanie is a great student and a caring person who is focused and has a goal – she is driven to become a nurse. She has already completed her CNA certification and is currently working as a CNA. She cares very much for her patients and is on the way to becoming an excellent nurse. In the classroom Stephanie continually makes choices that will propel her towards her goal. She works hard, studies and completes all of her assignments with 100% commitment to learning. She is an exceptional person and I am proud to be her teacher.

Michael Pauls has been chosen as
Senior Leader of the Month
by Mrs. Adrienne Rice
Michael was selected as Senior Leader of the Month because I can always count on him to step up and be a leader in the classroom. Michael demonstrates a willingness to lead by example by volunteering in class whether it is to read aloud or go fist for a speech, asking question to clarify assignments, and by completing his work and handing it in on time. I can always count on Michael to continually challenge himself and exceed expectations.
Outside of Michael works or hangs out with friends. After High School he plans to join the workforce full time and then attend college to pursue his dream of becoming a Radio DJ.

Ashley Taggart has been chosen as

Ashley was selected as Senior Leader of the Month
because she exemplifies leadership in the classroom.
Ashley has a natural instinct for her future career as an educator. Without ever being asked, Ashley has taken on the leadership role by helping her fellow students better understand a project or assignment. She always has a bright smile and displays patience even in adversity; qualities of a true leader.
Outside of school Ashley enjoys 4-H, singing in the church
choir and babysitting. After High School Ashley plans
to pursue a career as an Elementary Teacher.

February 18 - 22, 2013 Student of the Week is Cal Brunner. Cal has been chosen as Student of the Week by Mr. Sambs. Cal has been doing and awesome job in class lately. He has been actively participating in class and working very hard on all of his work. He seems to take pride in his work, which is a rare quality.
