The following students were chosen by their teachers for the month of February
Congratulations to Kassi Tews for being nominated by Mr. Chase as “Student of the Month”. Kassi is an amazing lady. She is an outstanding student who understands that life is not always the way we want it to be. Kassi has been an outstanding student, who gets all assignments in on time and also works many hours outside of school. Kassi never complains about anything and is always extremely grateful for all she has and for her family. Kassi truly knows how to inspire others with her heart and will go on to do many extraordinary things. She always puts others needs before her own and treats people with respect and honor.
Kassi is very thankful to receive this nomination from an amazing teacher. I am glad he notices my hard work and dedication to school. I could never thank him enough for the statement above, it is my honor to accept this nomination! Some of her favorite things are burgers, the color purple, hunting, the movie “Saving Private Ryan”, the book “Lock Down Series”, and her favorite class is MSI!

Congratulations to Maggie Ollman for being nominated by Ms. Karpinski for “Student of the Month”. Maggie has a great attitude toward life, family and school. She is very responsible which is evident in her efforts to do her work in advance of an absence. Her dedication to family and children is evident in her conversations. Maggie is a joy to be around!
Maggie feels good to be student of the month. She does work really hard every day and enjoys what she does with others. She is happy to be recognized this month! Some of Maggie’s favorite things are chocolate, the color pink, the movie “Twilight”, the “Twilight” books, and she likes to paint. Her favorite class is Assistant Childcare.

Congratulations to Brooklyn Billington for being nominated as “Student of the Month” by Mr. Johnson. Brooklyn is quiet, polite, and a hard working student. She pours herself into her art projects and desires excellence in whatever she makes. Brooklyn doesn’t ask for help much. She prefers to figure things out for herself. She consistently creates high quality art that shows attention to detail and never settles for anything below her best. She is a model student and a shining example of the type of students that makes me proud to teach.
Brooklyn feels very honored to be chosen as student of the month. She would like to thank Mr. Johnson for the nomination. She wouldn’t be where she is in her art classes without his gracious guidance and support. Some of Brooklyn’s favorite things are chocolate chip cookies, the color blush pink, Disney movies, and dancing. Her favorite book is “Tigers Curse” by Colleen Houck, and her favorite classes are Art and Band.

Congratulations to Anna Bubolz for being nominated by Mr. Fee as “Student of the month”. Anna is an outstanding student academically, she is very focused on her studies and this shows on tests, assignments, and daily participation. She is also a very respectful person who considers others before herself. She does not try to just get by on things, she is always giving her best!! Anna’s focus and hard work have made her above average in all I have observed her do.
Anna think’s it is cool to be nominated! Some of her favorite things are chocolate, the color blue, favorite movie is "Superstar", and her hobbies are snowboarding, rock climbing, wake surfing and wakeboarding.

Congratulations to Louis “Spirit” Knecht for being nominating by Mr. Chase as “Student of the Month”. Spirit is an outstanding young man. He is always prepared for class and asks a ton of very intelligent questions. He is hard working, responsible, dependable and a great person to be around. Louis makes people around him better as he is always searching for his best and is always in a very positive mood. I have watched Louis grow from a boy to a man and he’s very goal oriented and always gives his absolute effort every day, every minute. I have witnessed him many days at school before 6:30am working on becoming a better athlete, student, and person. You will not find a more complete young man who will do some very amazing things with his life.
Louis feels very honored to be nominated. He is also very thankful and will continue to work his hardest in class. Some of Louis’s favorite things are steak, the color red, the movie “American Sniper”, favorite book is "Gym Candy", he likes to hunt, and his favorite class is American History.
