Example of student contact hours needed to participate in the district graduation ceremony.

Number of student contact days during school year 180

90 days semester 1 September – January
90 days semester 2 January - June

Semester 2
90 days x 8 hours in a school day = 720 individual student contact hours

720 contact hours multiplied by 90% equals 648 hours
