Students in Mrs. Sroka's 5th grade classroom have completed a research unit on Native Americans. Groups were assigned a tribe to research food, clothing, traditions, shelters, and any other interesting facts about their tribes. Part of the requirement of the assignment was for each group to design and construct a dwelling used by their tribes.
Students in Grades 3-5 at Fremont Elementary are completing a unit on Scientific Method in Mrs. Sroka's science class. The Scientific Method is a process students go through to investigate and answer questions about an experiment. Students learned how to use the PHEOC Method - Problem, Hypothesis, Experiment, Observation, and Conclusion to solve problems using experiments. In the picture, Riley Delwiche and Morgan Hess are using a heat gun to test the temperature in which white and yellow popcorn begin popping.
Students at Fremont Elementary gathered to listen to the Weyauwega Fremont High School Low Brass Band. They played a variety of Christmas carols and students were able to sing along to the familiar tunes.
