5th Grade End of the Year Auction
At the end of each year, Mrs. Sroka's 5th grade class ends with an auction. At the beginning of each year, students are given a real checkbook and taught how to add deposits and deduct withdrawls. Each day students can earn $2.00 by having all homework completed and agendas signed. This is a real-life learning experience. Not only do students learn how to keep accurate records of a checkbook, but they learn how to budget and save in the process. Thank you Mr. Piencikowski for being our auctioneer!
