All families have one food service account, which covers all their children. Automated phone calls will be sent home daily for balances below $5.01 . This is a debit account, not a credit account. It is school board policy to place a hold on food service accounts that owe $10.00 or more. Students will not be allowed to purchase anything from the food service program until balance due is paid, and additional money is added to the account to cover future purchases.The cost of breakfast and lunch is set by the Board of Education. Parents will be informed of the cost through the local newspaper and the registration information packet.
People qualifying for free or reduced lunch may obtain the application form in the building office. Payments may be made at the parents convenience by using efunds, sending check, money order, or cash with your student. You may also mail checks or money orders to Attention of Food Service Department, School District of Weyauwega-Fremont, P.O. Box 580, Weyauwega, WI 54983-0580. Parents/Guardians may pay by the week, month, or quarter. Money will need to be deposited into your family account before your students can eat hot meals.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. Students are expected to follow these guidelines: (1) Stay in your place in line, (2) Clean the area in which you eat, (3) Eat all food in the lunch room, (4) Remain in the designated area until dismissed by supervisors.
